iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) data recovery

The iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) stores your data on a Fusion Drive: a hard drive plus an Apple PCIe blade SSD that macOS joins into one volume. Your files are spread across both parts. We image the hard drive and the blade SSD separately, then rebuild the Fusion volume before copying your files.

Drive can come out: direct recovery
